3. Eligibility Criteria
For Primary Level (Class I to V)
Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:
- Senior Secondary (50%) + Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed):
- Passed or appearing in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Senior Secondary (45%) + Diploma (NCTE Regulations 2002):
- Passed or appearing in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE norms.
- Senior Secondary (50%) + Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed):
- Passed or appearing in a 4-year B.El.Ed program.
- Senior Secondary (50%) + Diploma in Special Education:
- Passed or appearing in 2-year Diploma in Special Education (recognized by RCI).
For Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)
Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:
- Graduation + Diploma in Elementary Education:
- Passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Graduation/Post-Graduation (50%) + B.Ed.:
- Passed or appearing in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
- Graduation (45%) + B.Ed. (NCTE norms):
- Passed or appearing in B.Ed. as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).
- Senior Secondary (50%) + B.El.Ed.:
- Passed or appearing in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education program.
- Senior Secondary (50%) + B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.:
- Passed or appearing in a 4-year integrated B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. program.
- Graduation (50%) + Special Education (B.Ed.):
- Passed or appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education).
- Post-Graduation (55%) + Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.:
- Passed or appearing in a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program.
