Eligibility Criteria:
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility (Code 1)
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with NCTE Regulations 2002.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility (Code 2)
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
- Graduation and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- At least 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) as per NCTE Regulations.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed (Special Education).
- Candidates who have qualified B.Ed. Program recognized by NCTE are eligible to appear in CTET.
